Fees have two components. The base subscription is billed in advance through Stripe in the currency and on the cadence shown on the order page or order form (monthly or annual). Usage-based fees apply to AI-powered features: the Service meters this usage in credits, each subscription includes a monthly credit allowance shown on the order page or in the application, and usage beyond the allowance is billed in arrears — on the next invoice after the billing period in which it occurred — at the per-credit rate shown on the order page or in the application. All fees are quoted in Canadian dollars and are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST, HST, QST, PST), which we will add where required.
The application shows your firm's current usage, included allowance, and applicable overage rate at all times (Firm settings → Billing & security). Usage-based fees never interrupt the Service: exceeding the allowance does not block any feature — it accrues overage.
Unless an order form expressly says otherwise, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term at the then-current rate. You may cancel before the next renewal from within the application or by emailing chris@blankit.ca; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. Usage-based fees accrued up to the effective date of cancellation remain payable and may appear on a final invoice.
Fees paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in writing by us. If we increase fees for a renewing term — including the per-credit overage rate or a reduction of the included allowance — we will notify the firm billing contact at least 30 days before the new term begins; if you do not accept the change you may cancel before the term renews.
During any early-access or free tier we may publish, the base subscription is provided without charge and may be modified, rate-limited, or discontinued at our discretion; usage may still be metered against an included allowance during early access, and we will state clearly whether overage is being charged. We will give reasonable notice before converting an early-access tier to paid.
Payment-card details are handled by Stripe under Stripe's own terms; blankit does not see or store full card numbers.
